Happy Friday! Today I have 2 coats of Revlon Whimsical over 2 coats of Revlon Aloof. Having a white colored base coat kind of washes out the blue of the base color of Whimsical, but I still like it. A friend of mine said it reminds her of the Funfetti cake. It was my favorite Birthday cake as a kid, so I love that :) Have a great Weekend!
Hello! Today I have two coats of Revlon Aloof. This is a pearly off white with tiny silver glitter. I wish the sun would come back so I could get some decent pictures! With a light hand you could get this opaque in one thick coat. I will probably use this for what I call an “underwear” polish for some of my sheer colors. Have a great day!
Happy Friday! Today I have two coats of China Glaze Strawberry Fields. I wish I could have gotten a better picture, but the sun hasn’t been out for a few days. I’m not a big fan of red nail colors, but I love this pinky red with tiny gold flecks. I even used it on my toes! Have a great weekend :)
Happy Friday! Today I have 2 coats of China Glaze Grape Juice. I am a purple girl from lavender to eggplant, so this is definitely a polish for me :) I almost expected it to smell like grape juice when I opened the bottle. This is a beautiful purple with silver micro glitter. I am curious to see what it will look like with a matte top coat. Hope you have a great weekend! I’m off to see one of my favorite YouTubers, Kina Grannis, in concert tonight. If you haven’t heard of her look her up, she is great!

Revlon Popular/Starry Pink, three coats. I love this pink! Some people don’t like that the glitter is partially covered by the pink, but I like how it tones it down a bit. Have a great weekend!
My Easter nail art! I love the cute little Bunny! I was sad when I had to take it off. The colors from top to bottom:
Revlon Colorstay - Cafe Pink (also used for the Bunny’s ears and nose)
Essie - Mint Candy Apple
Sinful Colors - Cinderella
Revlon - Lilac Pastelle
Wet n Wild - French White Creme (all of the white)
Wet n Wild - Black Creme (Bunny’s eyes)
Hello! Today, April 2nd Autism Awareness day, so here is my blue mani in support! This is two coats of Sinful Colors Cinderella over one coat of Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect in Air. First the positive. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cinderella! It is a beautiful sheer baby blue base with tiny iridescent pinkish flakes in it. Since it is on the sheer side I wanted to layer it to be more opaque with less coats. Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect in Air is a pretty baby blue with a pearly shimmer. It is also a sheer, and would be lovely with two or three coats. I was using it as a base color, so I will have to wear it on it’s own eventually. Here is the negative. The Smooth and Perfect line of Sally Hansen has a wide brush like some brands are doing. I am a very petite person, under 5 feet, so I have small hands and nails. These wide brushes are a huge P.I.T.A. for me. I end up with more polish than I want for each coat, and end up doing a lot of clean up. I love the color so I will probably buy some empty nail polish bottles so I can have a normal brush for this and a few others I have. Thank you for looking and have a great day :)
A few days ago I received the OPI NYC Ballet Collection minis. This is three coats of “Don’t Touch My Tutu!” with one coat of “Pirouette My Whistle” on my ring finger. The first two coats were a little streaky, but buy the third coat and Seche Vite it worked out. I kind of cheated with the glitter by adding more of the hex pieces with a toothpick out of the bottle. I love this glitter polish because it will work great with all the shades in the collection, and the hex pieces in the polish has a matte look to it rather then shiny. Love it!

So I decided to do one more Hunger Games mani, because I’m going to see the movie tonight! This is China Glaze Riveting with China Glaze Luxe and Lush on top. So hard to photograph, but it looks like I have little flakes of Gold my my nails! This is the first time I’ve used a flaky, and let me tell you, it’s is a pain in the butt. You have to dab it on rather then swipe like regular polish. I quickly moved the pieces around with a toothpick till it was spread evenly. Even so, I love it and can’t wait to see what it looks like on other colors. Happy Hunger Games! May the odds be ever in your favor :)
